Salesforce Quality Assurance – Course Curriculum

Module 1 – Introduction to Salesforce QA: Overview of Salesforce Quality Assurance, QA role in Salesforce projects, and understanding SDLC and Salesforce implementation lifecycle.

Module 2 – Salesforce Platform Overview: Understanding Salesforce architecture, standard objects, workflows, and automation features relevant to testing.

Module 3 – Requirement Analysis & Test Planning: Analyzing business requirements, creating test plans, defining test scope, and preparing test strategy documents.

Module 4 – Test Case Design & Execution: Writing detailed test cases for functional, integration, and regression testing, and executing them in Salesforce environments.

Module 5 – Automation in Salesforce QA: Introduction to Selenium, Provar, or other Salesforce automation tools, and creating automated test scripts for repetitive testing tasks.

Module 6 – Defect Management & Reporting: Logging defects, tracking issues using Jira or similar tools, and communicating effectively with development teams.

Module 7 – Testing Salesforce Features: Testing core Salesforce modules like Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, Lightning Components, Apex, and integrations.

Module 8 – User Acceptance Testing (UAT): Supporting UAT, validating business requirements, and coordinating with end users and stakeholders.

Module 9 – Performance & Security Testing: Conducting performance testing, validating security permissions, profiles, and field-level security.

Module 10 – Real-time Project & Certification: Executing an end-to-end QA project on Salesforce, including functional, integration, and regression testing, followed by final assessment and certification.
