Salesforce Business Analyst – Course Curriculum

Module 1 – Introduction to Salesforce Ecosystem: Overview of Salesforce CRM, key cloud offerings, user roles, and understanding the Business Analyst’s role in Salesforce projects.

Module 2 – Business Analysis Fundamentals: Introduction to business analysis, identifying business needs, defining objectives, and documenting current vs future state processes.

Module 3 – Requirement Gathering Techniques: Conducting stakeholder interviews, workshops, surveys, and using tools like process flow diagrams, use cases, and user stories.

Module 4 – Business Process Mapping: Understanding workflows, approval processes, and data flows; creating process documentation and swimlane diagrams.

Module 5 – Salesforce Functional Knowledge: Exploring Salesforce objects, fields, relationships, automation tools (Flow, Process Builder), and reporting features relevant to BAs.

Module 6 – Documentation & User Stories: Writing effective user stories with acceptance criteria, creating functional requirement documents (FRD), and maintaining traceability matrices.

Module 7 – Collaboration & Project Management: Working with developers, admins, and QA teams; understanding Agile and Scrum methodologies; using tools like Jira and Confluence.

Module 8 – Testing & UAT (User Acceptance Testing): Preparing test scenarios, supporting user testing, validating requirements, and ensuring solution quality.

Module 9 – Real-world Project & Certification: End-to-end Salesforce project simulation including requirement gathering, process design, documentation, and final project review leading to certification.
